History and establishment time

On November 3, 1969, Archbishop José María García Lahiguera of Valencia founded the Edetania University Teacher Training School in cooperation with some religious institutions, and established the Edetania Association Foundation in January 1974.

In 1979, the then Archbishop of Valencia Miguel Roca Cabanellas and the President of the University of Valencia signed an agreement on the allocation of Edetania to the University of Valencia.
