Anhui Electrical Engineering Vocational and Technical College (hereinafter referred to as the "College") was established in 2003 by the merger of Anhui Electric Power Workers University and Hefei Electric Power School. It is a provincial public full-time general higher vocational school at the junior college level approved by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province and a national demonstration (backbone) higher vocational college. The college currently covers an area of about 135 acres and has a total construction area of more than 145,000 square meters. There are currently 2,546 students on campus, with an employment rate of graduates above 95% and a satisfaction rate of graduates with employment quality above 96%. The college has a good reputation and popularity, and is one of the only three "national demonstration higher vocational colleges" among power colleges in the country. Characteristic professional settings. The college currently has three key construction professional groups of "power grid technology direction", "power supply technology direction" and "automation technology direction", and has opened 9 enrollment majors, among which "power plant and power system", "thermal power engineering technology", "electrical automation technology" and "power supply and use technology" are national key majors, and there are 6 provincial key construction majors. 3 national-level "quality courses" and 19 provincial-level courses have been established. Excellent faculty team. There are 274 faculty members, of which 88.32% have bachelor's degrees or above, 76.64% have intermediate and above professional titles, and 9 have senior professional titles. Through the joint construction of schools and enterprises, the college currently has 68 on-campus training bases, including 1 national vocational education training base, 12 provincial training centers (bases), and 20 off-campus internship training bases. As the third batch of "Modern Apprenticeship System" pilot units of the Ministry of Education, it has carried out "Modern Apprenticeship System" cooperation with many industry enterprises such as Anhui Electric Power Engineering Association and Anhui Sote Electric Group Co., Ltd.; and cooperated with China Energy Construction Anhui Electric Power Construction No. 2 Company to establish a provincial school-enterprise cooperation demonstration base. Innovatively build a new model of "education + employment" rural revitalization, carry out targeted training cooperation with industrial units affiliated to State Grid Anhui Electric Power, and train 427 people for front-line positions such as line operation and maintenance and power supply services.
