Beijing Vocational College of Economics and Technology was established in March 2003. It is a full-time private general higher vocational college of finance and economics approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education of China. It has the qualification to independently issue nationally recognized academic diplomas. When the college was founded, it was located in Langfang Oriental University City, and moved to Jingdong Yanjiao Economic Development Zone in 2006. The college covers an area of more than 340 acres, with a construction area of nearly 100,000 square meters, more than 250,000 books, and a total investment of more than 32 million yuan in the construction of training rooms. The college has eight administrative functional departments and three departments, offering 13 higher vocational majors in big data technology, advertising art design, computer application technology, software technology, smart health care services and management, preschool education, leisure sports, community rehabilitation, big data and accounting, financial services and management, hotel management and digital operations, flight attendants, and securities practice.
