Guangzhou Nanfang College (formerly Nanfang College of Sun Yat-sen University) is a comprehensive applied undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in 2006. The school has been committed to building a first-class applied university in China and striving to become the banner of diversified development of higher education in Guangdong Province. School Overview Basic Information The school is located in Conghua District, Guangzhou, which is known as the "Pearl on the Tropic of Cancer" and the "Back Garden of Guangzhou". The campus covers an area of 1,092.09 acres. The campus is well-planned, beautiful and quiet, and is a place to cultivate sentiments and study. The school has 11 colleges and departments with 44 undergraduate majors, forming a discipline system with management, literature, and engineering as the main subjects, and coordinated development, reasonable structure, and complementary advantages in economics, medicine, and art. There are 19,061 full-time students.
