Lhasa Normal College is located at No. 88, Shengtao South Road, Chengguan District, Lhasa City. It is the only normal college in the Tibet Autonomous Region and the only university directly under the jurisdiction of Lhasa City. The school’s predecessor was the “Teacher Training Class” founded by the Lhasa Municipal Bureau of Culture and Education in 1964. Lhasa Normal School was established in August 1975.
