Linxia Modern Vocational College is a general higher vocational college established in March 2015 with the approval of the Gansu Provincial People's Government, filed with the Ministry of Education, and organized by the Linxia Prefecture People's Government. It originated from the Linxia Prefecture Health School established in 1972, the Linxia Prefecture National School established in 1981, and the Linxia Prefecture Agricultural School established in 1987. The college is located in Dongcheng District, Linxia City. The campus covers an area of 541 acres, of which the main campus covers an area of 400 acres, the branch campus covers an area of 141 acres, and the total building area of the school is 210,000 square meters. The college currently has 501 faculty and staff, 420 full-time teachers, 7 senior professional titles, 62 associate senior professional titles, and 90 intermediate professional titles. At present, there are more than 9,100 students in school, including more than 7,800 in higher vocational education. The college attaches great importance to the practical skills training of students. It has invested 100 million yuan to build 8 training centers and 173 experimental training rooms. The opening rate of experimental training in various majors has reached more than 95%, which has built a good platform for the formation of students' professional skills and the cultivation of innovative ability.
