Sichuan Railway Vocational College is a full-time public general college directly under the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. The school is located in Pidu District, Chengdu City, with two campuses in Chengdu and Neijiang, covering an area of 585 acres. It recruits students from 15 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) including Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou, Gansu, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Tibet. [Historical Overview] In 2014, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, the school was integrated from the former Sichuan Management Vocational College and Neijiang Railway Machinery School. Sichuan Management Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational college established in 2005 with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and converted from the former Sichuan Administrative Finance and Trade Management Cadre College. Neijiang Railway Machinery School was founded in 1952. It is the first batch of national key general secondary vocational schools directly under the former Ministry of Railways and a national education reform and development demonstration school approved by the Ministry of Education.
