Wuhan Software Engineering Vocational College is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college sponsored by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government and recruiting students from all over the country. The school is a "national high-quality junior college", "national demonstration (backbone) higher vocational college", "national demonstration software vocational and technical college", and a "double college project construction unit" (A file) in Hubei Province; it is a "national software technology training base", a "computer application and software technology" and "automobile operation and maintenance" skill-based talent training base determined by the Ministry of Education and other six ministries and commissions, a national vocational education "dual-qualified" teacher training base, and a leading unit for the construction of a national big data technology professional resource library; it has been rated as an advanced unit of vocational education in Hubei Province, an "ecological garden-style school" in Hubei Province, and a demonstration safe school in Hubei Province. The school has 13 colleges and 46 enrollment majors, including 4 key construction majors of national demonstration (key) higher vocational colleges, 5 key majors of national "high-quality schools", 2 majors supported by the central government to enhance industrial service capabilities, 3 pilot majors of the modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education, 8 provincial brands and characteristic majors, 13 majors for posting for famous skilled teachers in Chutian, Hubei Province, and two undergraduate pilot classes of software technology and automobile inspection and maintenance. There are 1,280 faculty and staff, including 935 full-time teachers, and 19,392 full-time students (15,876 higher vocational students and 3,516 secondary vocational students).
