Introduction
Paris Cité University is a public research university in France, located in Paris. It was formed by the merger of the former Paris V University, Paris VII University and Paris Geophysical Institute in 2019, and was officially renamed Paris Cité University in 2022.

Later, due to the appeal of the University of Paris II, on December 29, 2021, the French Administrative Court cancelled the merger. The name of the school was changed from "Paris University". In March 2022, the school was officially renamed Paris Cité University.
