Jawaharlal Nehru University of Architecture and Fine Arts (JNAFAU) is an architecture and fine arts university located in Masabtank, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. JNAFAU has two faculties offering several undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral research programs with a focus on two distinct colleges: the School of Planning and Architecture and the School of Fine Arts. It was established in 1940 by the erstwhile State of Hyderabad as the "School of Fine Arts".

The School of Planning and Architecture offers courses in Architecture, Digital Technologies in Design and Planning, Facilities and Services Planning, Interior Design, Planning, etc.

The School of Fine Arts offers courses in Painting, Applied Arts, Photography, Animation, Sculpture, etc.

The university has its origins in the School of Fine Arts, which was initially an "Arts and Crafts School" to promote art and local crafts, and later evolved into a "Government College of Art and Architecture" under the administration of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Telangana, Hyderabad.

With the establishment of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in October 1972, the college merged with the university and became a constituent college of JNT University. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University was bifurcated into four different colleges such as JNTU Anantapur, JNTU Kakinada, JNTU Hyderabad and JNAFAU Hyderabad, the latter being established under the Andhra Pradesh Legislation Act No. 31 of 2008, and under the said Act, the School of Fine Arts, JNTU has become one of the constituent colleges of the newly established Jawaharlal Nehru University of Architecture and Fine Arts, Masab Tank, Hyderabad, which will commence admissions from the year 2008-09.
