K.N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU for short) is a famous public university located in Tehran, the capital of Iran. It is named after the medieval Persian scholar Khajeh Nasir Toosi. KNTU enjoys a high reputation in many fields such as engineering technology, computer science, management and social sciences, and is one of the most prestigious higher education institutions funded by the Iranian government.

KNTU was founded in 1928 and was originally named "Industrial Technology College". In 1979, the college merged with eight other colleges to officially establish K.N. Toosi University of Technology.
