Introduction
IUAV University of Venice is a higher technical university located in Venice, Italy, which focuses on architecture and develops a variety of design majors. It is also the only university in Italy that specializes in teaching design and planning for all majors related to human habitation and living environment.

History and establishment time
In December 1926, it was founded by Giovanni Bordiga, the then president of the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. It was originally the Venice University of Architecture College. In 2001, it was officially renamed Venice IUAV University.

This is a Renaissance building. The studio was converted from the nearby Magazzini 7 (Ligabue) warehouse and overlooks the Giudecca Canal.
