Introduction
The University of Milano-Bicocca is a public comprehensive university located in Milan, Italy. The university was officially established in June 1998. Initially, the Economics Department of the University of Milan was assigned to the Bicocca new campus. In June 1998, the "Second University of Milan" was officially established, and in December 1999, it was renamed the University of Milan-Bicocca.
