Introduction to Altai State Pedagogical Academy
Altai State Pedagogical Academy is located in Barnaul, the capital of the Altai Krai in southern Russia. It is the largest and most prestigious comprehensive university in the region with a focus on teacher training.

The school is a small coeducational public non-profit university with a student population of 4,000-4,999. It offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral degree programs in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and other fields.
History and establishment time
Founded on September 1, 1933, it was originally named Barnaul State Pedagogical University. The first batch of students graduated in 1935. In 1941, it was renamed Barnaul State Pedagogical College. In 1993, it was awarded university status. In 2009, it was renamed Altai State Pedagogical College and resumed university status in 2014.
