Introduction to Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy
Izhevsk State Agricultural Academy is the only higher agricultural education institution in the Udmurt Republic of Russia. It provides undergraduate, master's and doctoral education and has trained a large number of agricultural professionals.

History and establishment time
In 1931, the predecessor of the school, the Moscow Racing Horse Breeding Animal Technology Institute, was established. It may have been destroyed or closed before World War II; in 1943, the institute was rebuilt; in 1954, the institute moved to Izhevsk and reorganized as Izhevsk Agricultural Academy; from 1984 to 1987, the academy was renamed Ustinov Agricultural Academy, and then restored to its original name; in 1995 In 2000, the college was reorganized into Izhevsk State Agricultural College.
