Introduction to Lipetsk State Pedagogical University
Lipetsk State Pedagogical University is the largest university in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, and the educational and scientific research center of the region, offering numerous academic programs, first-class research facilities and a rich campus life.

The school has more than 10,000 students and more than 600 faculty and staff, including 12% of doctors and professors, and 69% of doctors and associate professors.
History
Its predecessor was the Higher Industrial Educational Technical Institute established on April 16, 1931, renamed Lipetsk Teacher Technical Institute in 1936, and changed to Lipetsk Teacher Institute in 1937. On July 29, 1949, according to the order of the Soviet Ministry of Higher Education, it was reorganized into Lipetsk State Pedagogical University.
