Introduction
Siberian Federal University is the largest university in eastern Russia. It is located in Krasnoyarsk and is formed by the merger of the four largest universities and one educational institution in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

History
Siberian Federal University was established in November 2006. According to the Order No. 1417 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on November 28, 2006, Krasnoyarsk State University, Krasnoyarsk State University of Architecture, Krasnoyarsk State University of Technology, and Krasnoyarsk State University of Gold and Nonferrous Metals were merged into Siberian Federal University. In 2012, the Institute of Trade and Economics joined the university.

Teaching facilities: The campus has modern teaching facilities, such as supercomputers, observatories, comprehensive physics and chemistry research facilities, etc. It also has 35 research and development subdivisions, including scientific research institutes, design bureaus, multi-user centers, research and education centers, innovation centers, technology parks, technology transfer centers, and pilot plants.
Dormitory conditions: The school provides accommodation for all foreign students. The dormitories are new unit apartments located next to the college building, laboratory and library. Each unit has two rooms, each with a double or triple room, and a bathroom and kitchen equipped with all the equipment, such as induction cookers, refrigerators, microwave ovens, electric kettles, etc. The school's apartments were recognized as the best dormitories in the 2014 All-Russian Student Competition of the Russian Ministry of Education.
