Long history:

The college's history can be traced back to 1941, when a program called "War Production Training" was started in the workshop building of Clover Park High School. The program trained local citizens in the skills of repairing and maintaining military equipment during World War II. In 1942, Clover Park Vocational and Technical College was officially established. Since then, it has continued to develop, experienced several campus relocations and resource expansion stages, and became independent from the Clover Park School District in the 1990s to become today's Clover Park Technical College.
