In 1960, the former Sheboygan Central High School was renovated and remodeled, and the building was later used for Sheboygan Vocational and Adult Education and the administrative office of the Sheboygan Area School District.
In 1968, Sheboygan Vocational and Adult Education School was renamed Lakeshore Technical College (originally Lakeshore Technical Institute (LTI)). In 1974, the main campus in Cleveland was put into use at a construction cost of $5 million.
