School History
The school was founded in 1908 as a women's school named Oklahoma Industrial College and Women's College. In 1912, it was renamed Oklahoma Women's College. In 1965, it began to admit men and was renamed Oklahoma College of Arts and Sciences. In 1972, it was changed to its current name.
