Introduction
Military Academy of Belarus is a higher military education institution in the Belarusian national education system and a leading institution in the military personnel training, retraining and further education system. It mainly trains various professional military talents for the Belarusian armed forces.

The academy was established on May 17, 1995 in accordance with the Decree No. 192 of the President of Belarus on the basis of the Minsk Higher Military Engineering School and the Minsk Higher Military Command School, which was established on May 10, 1980. The successor of the Minsk Higher Military and Political School established in 1949.
