Student size: The school has more than 7,200 students from 43 different countries, forming a diversified learning atmosphere.

History and establishment time
The school was founded in 1934 and originally included 32 theoretical and clinical departments. It began to train overseas students in September 1981 and opened the Overseas Student Training College in 1997.

Faculty: It has a large teaching team of 500 people, including nearly 50 Professors, 150 associate professors, 70 doctors and 180 associate doctors.
Research strength: The school has 17 educational and research colleges in biomedical, clinical and pharmaceutical disciplines, and has 4 scientific publications of its own, among which the journal "Surgical Abstracts" is included in the Scopus index.

Preparatory Training College: It mainly provides a 10-month preparatory course for foreign students to help students learn Russian and basic subject knowledge such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and prepare for subsequent professional studies.
General Medical College: It provides comprehensive medical education and cultivates clinical medical professionals with a school system of 6 years.
School of Pharmacy: It focuses on teaching and research in the field of pharmacy and cultivates pharmacy professionals with a school system of 5 years.
