Aksu Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region on March 26, 2023, and registered with the Ministry of Education. It has the qualification to recruit students for higher education. The establishment of the college and the autumn enrollment have been identified as important contents of the ten livelihood issues of the region in 2023 by the Aksu District Administrative Office. The college is located in the Aksu National Economic and Technological Development Zone, with obvious location and resource advantages. The total planned area is 930 acres, and the first phase covers an area of 263.8 acres. The campus environment is beautiful, the living facilities are complete, and the faculty is strong. Aksu Prefecture has superior coal resources, large coal reserves, a full range of types, and excellent quality. It is one of the important coal, coal coking, and coal chemical bases in Xinjiang identified by the state.
