Anhui Audit Vocational College is the only vocational college in the country named after "audit". It was established because of audit and thrived because of audit. It is administratively affiliated to the Anhui Provincial Audit Department and is guided by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education in terms of business. The college was founded in April 1984 and has gone through the Anhui Provincial Audit Cadre Training Course, Anhui Provincial Audit Cadre School, Anhui Audit School and other school-running stages; in September 2000, it jointly opened a school with Anhui University to recruit junior college classes and began junior college education; in June 2004, it was upgraded to Anhui Audit Vocational College with the approval of the Anhui Provincial People's Government. In March 2020, the college was approved as a high-level skill-based university in Anhui Province, and successively cooperated with Anhui University of Finance and Economics and Anhui University of Technology to jointly recruit students from junior colleges to undergraduates. In August 2023, the college was successfully selected as a school construction unit of the "Double High Plan" in Anhui Province. There are more than 9,000 students of all types. The college is located in Hefei, a famous city of science and education. It has two campuses, Baohe and Fangxing. The Fangxing campus is located in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, close to Hefei Binhu New District, adjacent to Chaohu Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes in China, and Anhui Provincial Government New District, with obvious location advantages. The college covers an area of 353 acres and has teaching buildings, training buildings, libraries, stadiums, various stadiums, restaurants, etc. The teaching, living and sports facilities are complete and fully functional. There are 328 faculty and staff, including 72 associate senior titles and above, 11 professors, 89 teachers with dual-qualified teachers, 3 provincial outstanding teachers, 14 provincial teaching masters, 4 provincial professional leaders, 16 new teachers, 15 provincial and above teaching teams, and 27 provincial teacher teaching ability competition awards (including 4 first prizes). The college focuses on cultural education and building a harmonious and beautiful campus. The college is the fourth batch of pilot colleges and universities for the comprehensive reform of "three-dimensional education" in Anhui Province, a pilot college for the "1+X" certificate system of the Ministry of Education, a pioneering college in the construction of ideological and political courses in Anhui Province, and the second batch of school-enterprise cooperation demonstration schools in Anhui Province. It is a provincial civilized unit, a civilized campus of provincial agencies, and a "double top ten" advanced collective in mental health education. The college has 6 teaching departments, including the Audit Department, Accounting Department, Engineering Management Department, Business Department, Marxism College, and Comprehensive Education College. It currently offers 26 majors, including big data and auditing, big data and accounting, big data and financial management (including Sino-foreign cooperation), financial and tax big data application, accounting information management, entrepreneurship and operation of small and medium-sized enterprises, engineering cost, asset evaluation and management, modern property management, architectural decoration engineering technology, architectural interior design, construction project management, construction economic information management, real estate operation and management, landscape design, e-commerce, marketing, modern logistics management, business management, financial services and management, wealth management, online marketing and live e-commerce, big data technology, computer application technology, digital media technology and party affairs. A professional system has been formed with the audit professional group as the leader and professional groups such as engineering cost, e-commerce, and electronic information supporting each other. The major of Audit (Big Data and Audit) is the first batch of characteristic high-level vocational majors in Anhui Province and a national key construction major; Audit (Big Data and Audit) and Asset Evaluation and Management have received central financial support; Audit, Accounting, Asset Evaluation and Management, Logistics Management, Engineering Cost, Property Management, Marketing, Financial Management and other 8 majors are provincial key (including characteristic, backbone, comprehensive reform pilot, characteristic high level, etc.) construction majors. In January 2022, the college took the lead in establishing the Audit Vocational Education Alliance. The college also cooperated with Nanjing Audit University to carry out 17 majors such as auditing and accounting from junior college to undergraduate education. The college firmly establishes the school-running philosophy of "quality-based school, talent-based school, characteristic-based school, and law-based school management", focusing on the construction of "a position for the training of audit talents, a position for the continuing education of audit personnel, and a position for the research of audit theory", adhering to the path of connotation development and characteristic development, promoting the integration of vocational and general education, industry-education integration, and science-education integration, and deepening the reform of education methods, school-running models, management systems, and guarantee mechanisms, and cultivating tens of thousands of high-quality skilled talents for Anhui and even the whole country. In 2022, students won 9 first prizes, 15 second prizes, and 10 third prizes in the Anhui Vocational School Skills Competition; in 2023, they won 53 awards in the Anhui Vocational School Skills Competition, 1 first prize and 2 third prizes in the National Vocational School Skills Competition; 1 second prize in the Teaching Ability Competition of the National Vocational School Skills Competition; and the bronze medal in the China International College Student Innovation Competition. In recent years, the college's college entrance examination admission score has ranked among the top higher vocational colleges in the province; the employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% in recent years, higher than the provincial average; from 2020 to 2022, the rate of graduates entering undergraduate programs has exceeded 40% for three consecutive years, ranking among the top higher vocational colleges. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the college will adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, take moral education as its fundamental task, and educate people for the Party and the country as its fundamental goal.
