Anhui Automotive Vocational and Technical College and Anhui Automotive Industry Technician College (hereinafter referred to as "the two colleges" or "vocational college" and "technician college" respectively), its predecessor was the Anhui Automotive Industry Technician School established in 1985. It was originally funded by JAC Group and is now transferred to the Hefei Municipal People's Government. In order to adapt to economic and social development, improve the level of talent training, and create an automotive vocational education brand, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial People's Government, Anhui Automotive Industry Technician School was upgraded to Anhui Automotive Industry Technician College in 2007. During this period, the school jointly established the Hefei University of Technology Higher Vocational and Technical College (JAC Campus) with Hefei University of Technology in 2000 and began to cultivate highly skilled talents with college degrees; on this basis, in 2010, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial People's Government and the filing of the Ministry of Education, Anhui Automotive Vocational and Technical College was officially established. For more than 30 years, the two colleges have adhered to the fundamental task of cultivating talents with moral integrity and talent, and the purpose of cultivating highly skilled talents in the automotive industry with both moral integrity and ability, excellent quality and excellent technology. They have continuously deepened the reform of vocational education, continuously innovated the methods of teaching and scientific research, and gradually formed a vocational education and training system with comparative advantages. It has become a comprehensive vocational education college integrating academic education, pre-employment education, vocational skills appraisal, employment services and training. The two colleges are located in the national-level Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, which ranks first in the central and western parts of the country in comprehensive strength, and are adjacent to the Hefei Binhu New District. The garden-style campus, the well-arranged buildings and high-standard supporting facilities provide a good learning, living and working environment for teachers and students. Guided by the talent needs of Hefei's industrial upgrading and JAC Group and other large backbone enterprises, the two colleges mainly offer new energy vehicle technology, automotive intelligent technology, automotive manufacturing and assembly technology, automotive inspection and maintenance technology, automotive marketing and service, urban rail transit vehicle technology, mechatronics technology, industrial robot application and maintenance, e-commerce, computer application and maintenance, CNC machining, advertising design and production, business etiquette, logistics management, warehousing logistics technology, early childhood education, nursing and other majors. The existing majors not only cover the automotive industry chain such as vehicle and parts design and manufacturing, inspection and maintenance, marketing and service, but also continue to innovate and expand. Among them, automotive manufacturing and assembly technology, automotive marketing and service are provincial specialty majors, automotive inspection and maintenance technology is a provincial comprehensive reform pilot major, and mechatronics technology and other majors are provincial key construction majors in the action plan for the innovative development of higher vocational education. The two colleges continue to improve the conditions for on-campus skill training and have established on-campus training centers for new energy vehicles, automotive marketing, automotive maintenance, vehicle assembly, CNC machining, computers, logistics, intelligent control, electrical control, safety technology and physical training. At the same time, several off-campus internship and training bases have been established with enterprises affiliated to JAC Group as the main internship sites. The two colleges give full play to the advantages of enterprise-run schools and actively explore the talent training model of "industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation, and integration of work and study"; they continue to introduce enterprise technical experts and high-skilled talents to enrich the teaching staff, and have established a "double-teacher" teaching team with a combination of full-time and part-time teachers and strong business capabilities; they have developed core courses with corporate characteristics and effective applicability. At the same time, the college attaches great importance to campus culture construction, actively carries out various forms of quality education and character development training, strengthens the combination of Chinese traditional culture and corporate culture in the teaching process, adheres to the principle of educating people and moral education first, and forms a distinctive ideological and political education system, laying a solid foundation for moral education. The two colleges attach importance to expanding foreign cooperation and international exchanges. The vocational college cooperates with the Australian International Business College to run schools and conducts adult undergraduate education with Hefei University of Technology. At the same time, the vocational college also actively organizes fresh graduates to take the "junior college to undergraduate" examination and encourages students to enter full-time undergraduate colleges for further study. The Technician College not only trains two-year intermediate technicians, three-year senior technicians, four-year preparatory technicians and senior technicians, but also encourages students to participate in academic education organized by Hefei University of Technology. Since their establishment, the two colleges have trained a large number of high-skilled talents in technology, management, marketing and manufacturing for Anhui's automobile industry. Because the graduates of the two colleges have solid theoretical knowledge and outstanding professional skills, they have been fully recognized by employers, and the employment rate of graduates is over 95%. In 2006, the "National Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute" was established with the approval of the Anhui Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security; in 2008, it was recognized as a "National Demonstration Base for the Training and Training of High-skilled Talents" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security; in 2010, it was awarded the national "Enterprise Innovation Talent Training Base of Anhui Province Hefei-Wuhu-Bengbu Comprehensive Experimental Zone"; in 2012, it was recognized as a "National High-skilled Talent Training Base" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security; and has been rated as an advanced unit of vocational education in Anhui Province and an advanced unit of enterprise training in the country for many times. In the new stage, under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the two academies will closely focus on the major strategic needs of Anhui's "three strong provinces", "manufacturing province" and "skilled province", and in accordance with the positioning and requirements of the Hefei Municipal Government of "deepening the national industry-education integration pilot, building a high-level Sino-German education cooperation demonstration base, improving the school-running level of Anhui Automotive Vocational and Technical College, and striving to cultivate a group of high-quality engineers and high-skilled talents", further strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, deepen the integration of industry and education, innovate talent training models, and take the path of high-quality, characteristic and intensive development. We will strive to provide good services to the majority of students, strive to cultivate professional and skilled talents with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labor, and make greater contributions to building a modern and beautiful Anhui in the new stage of "strong economy, rich people and beautiful ecology".
