Anhui National Defense Science and Technology Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the Anhui Provincial People's Government, and supervised by the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Office of the Military-Civilian Integration Development Committee of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. The school was founded in 1974 and was formerly the Anhui Dajiang Mechanical Industry School. In 1997, it was renamed Anhui National Defense Science and Technology Industry School, and in 2003 it was independently upgraded to a higher vocational college.
