Anhui Sanlian College was invested and founded by Anhui Sanlian Investment Group in 1997. It is the first private college in Anhui Province. The school is located in Hefei, the provincial capital, and the main campus is located on the shore of Emerald Lake in the university town. It is a provincial general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and has the right to confer bachelor's degrees. The establishment of Anhui Sanlian College has been recorded in the 40-year events of Anhui's reform and opening up and the 70-year events of Anhui in the founding of New China. It is now a newly added master's degree authorization project construction unit in Anhui Province. The school fully implements the party's education policy, adheres to the socialist direction of running schools, implements the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity, adheres to the organic unity of party leadership and rule of law, effectively covers party organizations and party work, and continuously improves the level of party building and ideological and political education in schools. The school is mainly based on engineering, and has coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as management, economics, literature, art, medicine, and law. It currently has the School of Transportation Engineering, the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, the School of Computer Engineering, the School of Accounting, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Animation and Digital Arts, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Nursing, and the School of Robotics Engineering. It offers 47 undergraduate majors and more than 18,000 full-time students. In more than 20 years of operation, it has trained nearly 70,000 talents for the society. Adhering to the "gene" of the organizer's integrated development of industry, academia, and research, the school makes full use of the group's industrial, educational, and technological advantages, and deeply promotes the integration of industry and education. It has successively built the Modern Industry College of Smart Transportation, the Modern Industry College of Digital Creativity, and the Modern Health Care Industry College. It has jointly established collaborative innovation centers such as traffic safety application technology, service robot application technology, and digital art, and has been approved as two Anhui Provincial Undertaking Units of the Ministry of Education's Higher Vocational Education Innovation and Development Action Plan. The school is closely anchored in the strategic emerging industries of the country and Anhui such as the new generation of information technology, digital creativity and life health, and continuously strengthens the construction of disciplines and professional groups, forming four application-oriented disciplines and professional clusters such as "traffic safety, intelligent control, digital art, and health care". The discipline of transportation engineering has been approved as an application-oriented peak cultivation discipline for the construction of projects in Anhui Province. The school has established good cooperative relations with many universities such as Western Kyushu University, Osaka Sangyo University, Tokyo Welfare University, Hokuriku University, Hosei University, Tohoku Multicultural College, Edith Cowan University, WAIFS College, Korea National University of Transportation, Nazareth University, Chungbuk University, Pai Chai University, Jeju University, and Brenau University in the United States. The school has been awarded the "Advanced Collective of Graduate Employment in Ordinary Colleges and Universities in Anhui Province" four times and has been awarded the "Model Unit of Graduate Employment in Ordinary Colleges and Universities in Anhui Province" twice in a row. It has won the "Silver Award of China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition", "China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award", "Anhui Province Social Organization Standardization Construction 5A Unit", "Anhui Province May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee", "Anhui Province Ordinary Colleges and Universities College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Demonstration School" and other honors.
