Anhui Vocational College of Industry and Commerce is a public full-time higher vocational college under the jurisdiction of the Anhui Provincial Department of Education. Its predecessor was the cadre training class of the Industrial and Commercial Department of the Anhui Northern People's Administrative Office founded in 1950. In 1959, Anhui Hefei Commercial School was established. In June 2003, it was approved by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and upgraded to Anhui Vocational College of Industry and Commerce. Since 2020, it has successively carried out joint training of talents from junior college to undergraduate with Anhui University of Finance and Economics and Fuyang Normal University. The school adheres to the socialist direction of running schools, cultivates people with morality, and educates people. It is a high-quality junior college of the Ministry of Education, a pilot college of the Ministry of Education's modern apprenticeship system, a local high-level university of Anhui Province, and a provincial-level demonstrative higher vocational college in Anhui Province.
