Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Trade is a higher vocational college with a 33-year history of schooling approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province. It is located at No. 199, Guoqing West Road, Huainan City, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation. The campus covers an area of more than 1,200 acres (including the planned land of the Shannan New Campus), and the school building area is 140,000 square meters. There are more than 400 faculty and staff, more than 120 people with associate senior titles or above, 8 full professors, 10 provincial teaching masters, 12 new teachers, 2 excellent teachers, 8 provincial teaching teams, 1 technical and skill master studio, 2 Huainan "Shungeng Talents", and 2 Huainan "Cultural Masters" training targets. The library has a collection of 320,000 books, more than 1,000 Chinese and foreign books and materials; the value of experimental instruments and equipment is more than 70 million yuan. The college has six departments (Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Engineering, Architecture and Chemical Engineering, Economics and Trade, Business Administration), three colleges (School of Art and Media, School of Basic Education, School of Continuing Education), and two departments (Department of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching, Department of Physical Education), with 73 majors and nearly 7,000 students. The college adheres to the socialist direction of running schools, fully implements the party's education policy, and focuses on the training goal of "professionals with expertise, employment advantages, entrepreneurial capabilities, improvement foundations, development space, and application-oriented high-skilled talents that meet the needs of production, construction, management and service front lines". It deepens education and teaching reforms, innovates talent training models, promotes the "1+X certificate system pilot", develops "one specialty and multiple skills", and integrates entrepreneurship education throughout the entire process of talent training, highlighting the cultivation of entrepreneurial spirit and practical ability, forming the school-running characteristics of "adhering to entrepreneurship education, promoting the spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship, and cultivating students' innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities", and constructing a new model of entrepreneurship education with "six combinations and comprehensive penetration". The college adheres to the purpose of service and employment-oriented, strengthens the construction of internship bases, adopts various methods such as using loans from the Netherlands government to raise 70 million yuan, and builds on-campus internship training bases and experimental training centers for CNC technology, electrical and electronic and automation, automobile inspection and maintenance, computer application and network technology, animation technology, industry and commerce, logistics management, and e-commerce in accordance with the requirements of modern vocational education to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents. Among them, there are 3 national-level education and training bases, 2 provincial-level talent training model innovation experimental zones, and 1 Dutch government (EVD) aid project in Asia. There are 8 provincial-level comprehensive reform pilot majors, 6 provincial-level demonstration (featured) majors, and more than 60 laboratories. The school also has internship factories and driving training schools. In addition, the school has established off-campus internship employment bases in nearly 100 modern large-scale enterprises. The school deepens school-enterprise cooperation and strengthens the integration of production and education. It has successively cooperated with high-tech enterprises such as Wuhu CIMC Ruijiang, Nanjing Suning Cloud Business Group, and Hefei BOE, enriching and innovating the connotation of school-enterprise cooperation, and building an open education mechanism for win-win cooperation among enterprises, schools, and students. Since its establishment, the college has trained nearly 50,000 full-time college and undergraduate graduates for the country, more than 50% of whom have become the backbone of enterprises; more than 30% have successfully started their own businesses. Many entrepreneurial groups have emerged in the "Pearl River Delta", "Yangtze River Delta" and various parts of Anhui Province.
