The School of International Education (BIT) of Beijing Institute of Technology was established in 2008. It is one of the windows for the school to conduct international exchanges and cooperation and implement the international development strategy. It is responsible for organizing and carrying out unplanned international cooperative education projects and cooperating with professional colleges to carry out planned joint training projects. The school actively introduces international high-quality higher education resources, cooperates with foreign universities, and carries out multi-mode and multi-level international talent training. The undergraduate education projects of Sino-foreign cooperative education include: the undergraduate bachelor's degree education program in "International Economics" jointly organized by Beijing Institute of Technology and Utah State University (USA) approved by the Ministry of Education. It is unplanned enrollment, and students will receive a degree from Utah State University when they graduate. The Sino-foreign cooperative graduate education programs include: the "Vocational Education and Human Resources Development" master's degree education program jointly organized by Beijing Institute of Technology and Technische Universität Dresden approved by the Ministry of Education. Students will receive a master's degree from Technische Universität Dresden upon graduation. Beijing Institute of Technology and HTWG Constance University of Applied Sciences jointly organized the "Compliance and Corporate Governance" EMBA program for Daimler, a famous German Mercedes-Benz car manufacturer. These programs closely follow the needs of the market economy, have high educational quality, and have won wide social reputation and recognition from the majority of candidates. 2,435 international high-level talents have been trained, including 691 postgraduates and 1,744 undergraduates. At present, there are 865 students of all kinds on campus.
