Beijing Jingbei Vocational and Technical College is an independently established full-time higher vocational and technical college approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is a model higher vocational college in Beijing. The predecessor was the Huairou Branch of Beijing Institute of Architectural Engineering established in 1984. In 2002, it was renamed Beijing Jingbei Vocational and Technical College. The college is located in Huairou City, a city with beautiful scenery, fresh air, and has been honored as an "ecological blessing, a pearl in the suburbs of Beijing, a Chinese movie theater, and an international city". With beautiful surroundings, convenient transportation, and a collection of scenic spots, it is an ideal place to study and live. The college covers an area of 186 acres, with a construction area of 62,300 square meters. It currently has more than 2,200 full-time students and more than 1,700 adult education students.
