Bozhou College is a provincial public general undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Bozhou, Anhui, a national historical and cultural city. It has a long cultural history and a gathering of people, and enjoys the reputation of "Chinese Medicine Capital", "Chinese Wine City", "Hometown of Cao Wei" and "Hometown of Chinese Five-animal Opera". The school originated from the Mengcheng Teacher Training Institute founded in 1909. Mengcheng Normal School was established in 1952. In March 2002, it was independently upgraded to Bozhou Teachers College. In March 2016, it was independently upgraded to Bozhou College. In May 2020, it was listed as a bachelor's degree-granting unit. The school has 11 teaching departments. There are 10,951 full-time students. The campus covers an area of 1,526 acres and has a collection of 1.1625 million books and 1.0187 million electronic books. It has established friendly cooperative relations with the University of Science of Malaysia, Boren University in Thailand, Chiang Rai University in Thailand, Halla University in South Korea, and De La Salle University in the Philippines. Since 2020, the employment rates of graduates are 97.28%, 97.62%, 95.60%, and 96.18% respectively.
