Changsha Vocational College of Culture, Creativity and Art is a comprehensive full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province, registered with the Ministry of Education of China, and supervised by the Hunan Provincial Department of Education. The college focuses on cultivating professionals in media, culture, creativity, art, and technology, and takes into account the integration of culture and tourism, and the combination of medicine and education as its school-running characteristics. The predecessor of the college was the Hunan Central South Art School founded in 1999, which has trained a large number of outstanding professionals in culture, creativity and art. The college is located in Xiangshan Education City, Xiangjiang New District, Changsha. The campus facilities and equipment are advanced and the environment is elegant and unique. It currently covers an area of more than 350 acres and a planned land area of 800 acres; the current building area is 136,500 square meters and the planned building area is more than 400,000 square meters; the original value of fixed assets is more than 500 million yuan, and the main teaching and scientific research equipment is worth more than 22.75 million yuan; the collection of paper and electronic books is more than 920,000. The college has a strong faculty and currently has 198 full-time teachers. Among them: 15 teachers have senior professional titles, 47 teachers have associate senior professional titles, 123 teachers have postgraduate degrees, and 132 "double-qualified" teachers. There are many famous teachers and outstanding experts from the Ministry of Education and Hunan Province, and many provincial and ministerial excellent teaching teams.
