Changzhi Medical College is a full-time general higher medical school in Shanxi Province. It is located in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, known as the red capital and charming city. It is located in the hinterland of Taihang and Taiyue and at the junction of the three provinces of Shanxi, Hebei and Henan. It is a development center in the region. Its predecessor was the Nursing School of the Bethune International Peace Hospital General Hospital of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Military Region. In 2013, it became the first pilot training unit in the province to train master's degree students in clinical medicine to serve the country's special needs talent training project. In 2016, it was included in the National Basic Capacity Building Project of Colleges and Universities in Central and Western China.
