At present, the school has nearly 14,000 full-time undergraduate students, and the students come from 20 provinces (autonomous regions) across the country. As of February 28, 2023, the number of faculty and staff of our school is 936, and there are 716 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 49 professors, 196 associate professors, and 20 other associate senior professional titles. There are 172 doctors, 57 doctoral students, and 533 masters. There are more than 50 national outstanding teachers, "Sanjin Talents", provincial young top talents, model teachers, teaching masters, subject leaders, middle-aged and young backbone teachers, excellent teachers, model teachers and good teachers, and more than 70 well-known experts and scholars from inside and outside the province have been hired as part-time professors and visiting professors. The school has 14 teaching departments, namely the Chinese Department, the School of Marxism (preparatory), the History and Tourism Management Department, the Law and Economics Department, the Foreign Languages Department, the Education Department, the Music and Dance Department, the Physical Education Department, the Fine Arts Department, the Mathematics Department, the Physics Department, the Chemistry Department, the Life Science Department, and the Computer Department; there are 41 undergraduate majors, covering ten disciplines including literature, science, engineering, law, economics, education, history, art, management, and medicine. There are 14 scientific research institutions including the Taihang Cultural Ecology Research Institute, the Zhao Shuli Research Institute, the Colored Sculpture and Mural Research Institute, the Chorus Art Research Institute, and the Silk Road Civilization Research Center. The school has 1 national characteristic specialty construction site, 1 Ministry of Education comprehensive reform pilot specialty, 1 Ministry of Education curriculum reform pilot specialty, 4 provincial characteristic specialties, 7 provincial first-class specialty construction sites, 2 provincial higher education advantage and characteristic specialties, 5 provincial key support disciplines, 1 "1331 Project" advantage and characteristic discipline, 2 provincial higher education talent training model innovation experimental zones, 7 provincial higher education basic course experimental teaching demonstration centers, 4 provincial quality resource sharing courses, 13 provincial first-class courses, 2 excellent teaching teams, provincial key research base for humanities and social sciences (Taihang Ecological Culture Research Institute), "1331 Project" Collaborative Innovation Center, "1331 Project" Engineering (Technology) Research Center, "1331 Project" Youth Innovation Team Project, "1331 Project" Key Innovation Team (cultivation), key laboratory of higher education institutions, and 1 service industry innovation discipline group cultivation project. Since 2016, teachers of the school have undertaken 13 natural science fund projects, 5 national social science fund projects, 4 humanities and social science fund projects of the Ministry of Education; 196 provincial fund projects; 97 horizontal projects. Among them, in 2020, one special project of ideological and political education of the National Social Science Fund was obtained (only 2 projects were approved in the province), and in 2021, one special project of humanities and social science counselors of the Ministry of Education was obtained (only 3 projects were approved in the province), and one general project of the National Art Fund was obtained (only 2 projects were approved in the province). The school currently has 201 teaching experiments and training rooms, 119 multimedia classrooms, 6 dance rehearsal halls, and 118 professional piano rooms. The school has a standardized sports field, a sports training hall, a multi-functional experimental theater, and a digital piano classroom with terminal display. The school library has a collection of 1.229 million paper documents, more than 1.54 million electronic books, and 14 Chinese and foreign electronic databases. In order to further promote cultural education, the school vigorously promotes the construction of "three museums", including the animal and plant specimen museum, which collects more than 13,000 animal specimens and more than 10,000 plant specimens; the Shangdang Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall has more than 3,200 precious cultural relics in the Shangdang area; the school history museum vividly shows the spirit and development process of several generations of Changzhi College people based on the Shangdang land, hard work and striving for progress with more than 1,000 pictures, objects and audio-visual materials. The school actively carries out foreign exchanges and cooperative education, and has signed cooperation and exchange agreements with 21 foreign universities such as Japan's Sakuyang University, the Australian Education Alliance, and California State University, Stanislaus. A total of more than 110 teachers and students were sent. Invite 9 overseas senior foreign experts from the United States, Canada, South Korea and other countries and regions to our school for academic lectures and short-term courses.
