Chengdu College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education of China (Jiaofa Letter [2004] No. 21). It is jointly established by University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Chengdu Guoteng Industrial Group, and is a general college with undergraduate education as the main body, using new models and new mechanisms. The school was founded in 2001 and currently has 7 colleges, 68 majors, and more than 17,000 students. The school currently has two campuses, Chengdu Campus and Shifang Campus, covering an area of 1,400 acres. Among them, Chengdu Campus is located in the Chengdu High-tech West Zone, a national high-tech industrial development zone where IT and electronic companies gather, and Shifang Campus is located in Shifang City, a historical and cultural city in Sichuan Province with beautiful environment and convenient transportation.
