China University of Geosciences is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is a university approved by the state to establish a graduate school. It is a national "211 Project" and a national "Double First-Class" construction university. China University of Geosciences is located on the bank of East Lake in Wuhan, overlooking the foothills to the south. The school is mainly characterized by earth sciences. The disciplines cover science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law, education, art and other categories. Two first-level disciplines, geology, geological resources and geological engineering, have been selected as "Double First-Class" construction disciplines. The international exchange school actively carries out foreign academic, scientific and cultural exchanges, and has signed friendly cooperation agreements with more than 100 universities in the United States, France, Australia, Russia and other countries. In 2012, the "International University Alliance of Earth Sciences" was established by our school, in conjunction with twelve world-renowned universities such as Stanford University, Macquarie University, University of Waterloo, University of Hong Kong, and University of Oxford. The alliance universities share resources, exchanges and cooperation in the field of earth sciences to achieve a win-win development of talent training and scientific and technological innovation. It currently has Nanwangshan Campus and Future City Campus, and has field geological teaching practice bases in Zhoukoudian, Beijing, Beidaihe, Hebei, Zigui, Hubei and Badong.
