Chongqing Health Vocational College (CHONGQING HEALTH COLLEGE) is a full-time medical general college (MOE code: 14727) established in May 2020 with the approval of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education of China, and recruiting students nationwide. It is affiliated to the Chongqing Dazu District State-owned Assets Group. The college is located in Dazu District, Chongqing, a world cultural heritage site of "China's Stone Carving Hometown" and "Western Hardware Capital". It is close to the Yurong and Tongrong Expressways, close to the Chengyu Line and high-speed rail, surrounded by many trunk roads, and the transportation is very convenient. The surrounding natural environment is beautiful, and it is only 13 kilometers away from the world cultural heritage site-Dazu Rock Carvings. Bathed in the east wind of the "Implementation of the Healthy China Strategy" proposed by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the "Healthy China 2030" Planning Outline, the college set up Chongqing Health Vocational College on the basis of the original Chongqing Science and Technology Engineering College. The college covers an area of 500 acres and has a school scale of 12,000 people. The first phase of the project has invested a total of 350 million yuan, completed 63,400 square meters of infrastructure construction, and the school buildings are arranged in a garden style. The college has teaching buildings, apartments, canteens, indoor activity rooms, office buildings, training buildings, science and technology information centers, student entrepreneurship parks, libraries, basketball courts, body training rooms, art rooms, music rooms, voice rooms, computer rooms, etc. The college library currently has 100,000 paper books and materials, and has a modern electronic reading room and book lending system. So far, 11 majors have been opened, including drug operation and management, drug quality and safety, elderly care and management, health information management, infant and child care services and management, community rehabilitation, Internet of Things application technology, big data financial management, artificial intelligence technology application, social sports, and health management. As of August 31, 2022, the total value of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment required for related majors and public teaching has been purchased for 9.02 million yuan. Currently, the campus has 3,000 square meters of internship and training space. The training rooms that have been built include rehabilitation assessment training room, physical factor training room, exercise therapy training room, traditional rehabilitation training room, human anatomy training room, simulated pharmacy training room, sight-singing and ear-training training room, body shape classroom, children's sensory integration training room, children's simulation training room, children's medical care training room/children's environment creation training room, hospital information system training room, database and information management system training room, speech room, comprehensive financial management training room, Internet of Things training room, computer room, basic accounting skills training room, and artificial intelligence training room (invested by Mingru Industrial College). There are 19 training rooms related to nursing majors that are about to be built; there are 51 off-campus training bases. All faculty and staff of the college adhere to the school motto of "Broad learning, dedication, health and perfection". Under the correct leadership of the board of directors and college leaders, they vigorously strengthen the connotation construction, continuously strengthen the school's characteristics of big health, give full play to the demonstration and leading role in the health field in Chongqing, and cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents required for big health.
