Enshi Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. The school was formed by the merger of the former Enshi Finance School, Enshi Construction School, Enshi Forestry School, Enshi Supply and Marketing School, Enshi Agricultural School and Enshi Education College. Later, the State Ethnic Sports School, State Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School, State Art School, State Transportation Technical School, State Health School, State Business School, and State TV University were successively incorporated. The school's history can be traced back to 1937. Adhering to the school motto of "Devotion to Determination, Virtue and Skill", it has cultivated a large number of compound technical and skilled talents for the economic and social development of Enshi Prefecture.
