Gansu Nonferrous Metallurgical Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational and technical college jointly funded by the Jinchang Municipal People's Government and Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. The predecessor of the college was the Jinchuan Group Workers' University (founded in 1984, approved by the original Nonferrous Corporation and affiliated to Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd.) and the first batch of "standardized secondary normal schools" in Gansu Province - Jinchang Normal School (founded in 1984, approved by Gan Teachers' Word (1984) No. 314).
