Guangdong Country Garden Vocational College was invested and founded by the Guangdong Guoqiang Public Welfare Foundation. It is a non-profit full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, registered by the Ministry of Education, and supervised by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education. The school is located in the scenic tourist city of Qingyuan, a provincial vocational education city with complete teaching equipment and facilities and excellent learning and living conditions. The school originated from vocational education poverty alleviation. From 2014 to 2020, as a fully free charitable college, the school funded more than 3,500 needy students free of charge, helping poor families "one person to become a talent, the whole family out of poverty". The school has carried out close cooperation with well-known companies such as Country Garden Group, Tencent Cloud, Xiaopeng Motors, Hilton, BYD, and Kingdee. Through innovative breakthroughs in the integration of production and education, school-enterprise resource sharing, and school-enterprise dual-subject co-education of talents, the school has explored the "three-stage progressive, school-enterprise co-education" talent training model in practice, and shaped students' excellent character and professional quality through major ideological and political reforms and paramilitary management. The school's initial employment rate of graduates is nearly 100%, ranking among the top in the province; the average salary of graduates has ranked among the top three higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province for three consecutive years. Nearly 80% of graduates are employed as grassroots management cadres or technical backbones of enterprises upon graduation; 6% of graduates have a monthly salary of over 10,000 yuan upon graduation. The school insists on taking the path of characteristic development, connotation-based development, and high-quality development. With the strong support of the school organizer, Guangdong Guoqiang Public Welfare Foundation, the school will launch the fourth phase of the project in 2023. The total investment of the project is about 300 million yuan, and the building area will increase by nearly 80,000 square meters. At the same time, the introduction of high-tech teaching and scientific research equipment will greatly improve the school's talent training conditions. In the past 10 years, the school's educational quality has been widely recognized by higher authorities and the society. The "Sunshine College Entrance Examination" college satisfaction ranking has won the first place in the province and the top three in the country. The school has been awarded the honorary titles of "National National Defense Characteristic School" and others by the Ministry of Education. The school passed the talent training work evaluation organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education in 2020 with excellent results.
