Guangdong Meizhou Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time general college approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and approved by the Ministry of Education of China. College entrance examination admission batch: junior college batch, 3-year schooling, formal enrollment will begin in the fall of 2021. The college is located on College Road, Meijiang District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, and is located on the banks of the beautiful Zhouxi River. The campus covers an area of 600 acres, including the East District, West District, North District of the school headquarters, and the Guangmei Industrial Park Campus, with a total construction area of 300,000 square meters and a planned enrollment of 12,000 students. The college has 8 teaching units including the College of Agricultural Engineering, the College of Information Engineering, the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the College of Finance and Commerce, the College of Marxism, the College of Education, the College of Continuing Education, and the Department of Public Courses. It is planned to open 45 majors, and 20 majors have been opened, including animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, automobile inspection and maintenance technology, big data technology and application, cooking technology and nutrition, preschool education, e-commerce, intelligent control technology, big data and accounting. The college is the Guangdong Provincial Doctoral Workstation, the Chinese Hakka Cuisine R&D and Training Base, the Guangdong Provincial "Cantonese Chef" Training Demonstration Base, the South China Agricultural University Postgraduate Joint Training Base, the Lingnan Xinchuang Testing and R&D Center East Guangdong Branch, and the Meizhou Engineering Technology Research Center.
