Guangdong Yunfu Vocational College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a full-time public general college sponsored by the Yunfu Municipal People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education of China. It is one of the important projects of our province to accelerate the construction of new and relocated colleges in eastern, western and northern Guangdong. It shoulders the important task of cultivating grassroots traditional Chinese medicine talents for our province. The college adheres to the leadership of the Party, fully implements the Party's education policy in the new era, adheres to the training of talents as the center, implements the fundamental task of cultivating people with morality, adheres to the educational concept of "people-oriented, moral and professional, and comprehensive development", and cultivates high-quality technical and skilled talents with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor to adapt to the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine and industry, serves local economic construction and social development, and is committed to building a first-class vocational college of traditional Chinese medicine in China. The construction and development of the college has received strong support and long-term assistance from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, a national "double first-class" university and a high-level university in Guangdong Province. The campus planning and construction has a high starting point, complete teaching and living facilities, and strong faculty. The site is located in Xinxing County Education Park, with a planned area of 1,125 acres, which can meet the school scale of 10,000 students, and is planned to be completed in three phases. The first phase of construction has been completed, covering an area of 395 mu, with a building area of 130,000 square meters, and can accommodate 4,500 students. The college currently offers 11 majors, including Chinese medicine, nursing, Chinese medicine, pharmacy, Chinese herbal medicine cultivation and processing technology, Chinese herbal medicine production and processing, Chinese medicine rehabilitation technology, Chinese medicine health care, rehabilitation therapy technology, computer application technology (in the direction of Chinese medicine big data Internet of Things), and digital media technology (in the direction of Chinese medicine culture communication).
