Guangxi Construction Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1958 and is affiliated to the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the only public construction vocational college in Guangxi. Adhering to the school motto of "virtue, learning, and practice", and inheriting the consistent tradition of civil engineering education, the school has trained a large number of construction engineering technical elites and provided nearly 100,000 outstanding professional talents for the construction industry. It enjoys the reputation of "Bagui Lu Ban Cradle" and "Construction Talent Base". In 2019, it was selected as a construction unit of the Chinese Characteristic High-level Vocational School and Professional Construction Plan. In 2023, it passed the construction acceptance of "Guangxi High-level Vocational School" with excellent grades. The school currently has two campuses, Luowen and Wuming, covering a total area of 1,928 acres.
