Guangzhou South China Vocational College of Commerce and Trade is a full-time general higher vocational college of finance, commerce and trade approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government in 2005 and registered by the Ministry of Education. It belongs to the Guangdong Nanbo Education Group together with Guangdong University of Science and Technology (applied undergraduate) and Guangzhou Nanyang Polytechnic College (technical higher vocational college). The school is located in the Health City University Park in Zhongluotan Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, the second university city in Guangzhou. Its predecessor was the Guangzhou Institute of Business Administration founded in 1998. The school is planned to cover an area of 900 acres, and the campus area is 387.72 acres and the school building area is 321,800 square meters. It has teaching equipment with a total value of more than 42 million yuan, and the library has a collection of more than 1.1 million books, including 373,000 electronic books. The school currently has 41 majors, including 1 provincial high-level professional group, 2 provincial brand majors, 1 provincial characteristic major, and 6 high-level professional groups that are key to the school-level construction.
