In 1999, Guangdong Jingda Economic Development Co., Ltd. invested in the establishment of Guangdong Nanjing University Vocational College. In 2004, it was approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government to become Guangzhou Science and Technology Vocational and Technical College.
