Guangzhou Vocational College of Science, Technology and Commerce (hereinafter referred to as "the school") is located in Guangzhou, the core city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a full-time general higher vocational college in Guangdong Province. Zhong Nanshan, a famous scientist, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and honorary chairman of the Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology, serves as the honorary dean. It is based on serving the two major sectors of science and technology and commerce in Guangzhou and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With the Panyu campus (adjacent to Guangzhou University Town) as the center, it advances to the Guangzhou Development Zone in the north and expands to the Nansha Free Trade Zone in the south, forming a "one body and two wings" development pattern.
