Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College (Guizhou Industry Polytechnic College) is a public higher vocational college directly under the Provincial Department of Education. Its predecessor was the Guizhou Chemical Industry School founded in 1958. It is a high-level higher vocational college with distinctive engineering characteristics. It has been approved as a "national key technical secondary school", "Guizhou Demonstration Higher Vocational College", and "Guizhou High-quality Higher Vocational College". It has been awarded the "excellent" grade in the evaluation of ideological and political education work of Guizhou colleges and universities for many times. In 2021, it was approved as a construction unit of Guizhou Province's high-level higher vocational school and professional construction plan, and a pilot unit for the reform of "three-dimensional education" in Guizhou Province.
