Guizhou Light Industry Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government in February 2004 and affiliated to the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education. It is located in the Guizhou Light Industry Vocational and Technical College campus in Gui'an New District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, adjacent to Gui'an Big Data Science Innovation City, covering an area of more than 1,800 acres. It is a national "Double High Plan" construction unit, a national high-quality higher vocational college, and a typical college with employment experience for graduates nationwide and a typical college with innovation and entrepreneurship nationwide.
