Guizhou Vocational College of Media was established in 2023 with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and filed with the Ministry of Education. It is affiliated to the Guizhou Provincial Radio and Television Bureau and is the only public full-time general college of higher learning in the southwest region.
